On Saturday, we had the pleasure of attending Dave's Uncle John's wedding on Anderson Island. Anderson Island is where the majority of my father-in-law's side of the family lives. We don't get too many chances to visit because it is a bit of a drive and a ferry ride away. But we always have a wonderful time when we do. This visit just so happened to fall on the hottest day of the year to-date. We got up into the 90s for the first time this year which feels very hot when you are used to the mid-70s on a daily basis! Plus the humidity doesn't help!
Although we were very hot, the wedding was beautiful and we enjoyed visiting with family we hadn't seen in quite some time. The kids especially enjoyed the ferry boat rides!
On the ferry with Papa Dave - it was his birthday! Happy Birthday Papa Dave!
