Hair Trauma

Well we put it off as long as we could, but Jack's hair was getting a bit too long.  So today we decided to take him in for his first haircut.  He is a bit of a screamer and does not sit still well.  So I was anticipating quite a scene.  And let's just say he did not disappoint!  He lasted about 10 seconds in the fancy airplane chair before he started crying.  The screaming quickly followed and lasted through the remainder of the hair cut.  I don't know how the lady managed to get it cut without taking out huge chunks of hair.  He was flailing all over the place and trying to get out of the chair.  Poor guy.  Luckily it only lasted a few minutes and he got a cool "faux hawk" out of the deal!  All of the other parents in the place were very sympathetic and were sharing their first haircut horror stories.  Hopefully his hair grows slowly because I am not excited for haircut #2!
