Monday was Sports Clothing day. So Jack and Kate wore their matching Sounders shirts. I realize that it won't be long before they will tell me that it is "uncool" to dress in matching shirts. So until that time comes, I will take any opportunity I can get. Jack is holding up his golf club. He is a fan of all sports.
Tuesday was pajama day...and kisses for Kate day! These are Jack's favorite pajamas. He wants to wear them every night and gets mad when they are dirty. I should have bought multiple pairs.
Wednesday was crazy hair day. So Kate and I started preparing the day before by putting a bunch of little braids in her hair. Then we took them all out in the morning and added a few colorful hair clips. Totally 80s. Who needs a crimping iron?
Jack got some product in his hair for a little spike action. Notice the basketball shirt.
Thursday was crazy hat day. So Jack wore his sock monkey hat and Kate wore her cowgirl hat. Jack doesn't really like getting his picture taken so I don't often get a smile out of him. This is as close as it gets. And Kate is perfecting her fake "cheese" smile.
Kate also got to make a fabulous hat out of paper for their craft project that day.
On Friday all of the kids were supposed to wear their red school shirts that they wear when they go on field trips (so they can be spotted easily in a crowd). The infant rooms don't have shirts because they don't get to go on field trips yet. So their teachers were nice enough to make each child their own special shirt. Jack's has a basketball on it. Have I mentioned he likes sports?
What a fun week!
