First T-Ball Season

Yesterday we completed the first T-Ball season for both kids.  We had so much fun getting out every Saturday to watch them play.

Jack played on a 3-4 year old team coached by Dave and two other dads.  They were the Mighty Munchkins!

Team Photo (this took about an hour to get 1 photo where the kids were somewhat sitting still and looking at the camera).

Kate played on a 5-6 year old team with her friend Taryn.  They were the Tigers.

And a some more

Jack definitely loved T-Ball and can't wait to play again.  Kate was a little more indifferent and has requested to start gymnastics again now that it is over.  This may be her first and last season.  The funny thing is that I also played one season of T-Ball as a child and my uniform was also bright orange (and I may have done a little pouting).  Following in my footsteps I suppose.  I guess I better go get her signed back up for gymnastics!

Memorial Weekend at Seabrook

For Memorial weekend, we headed down for another visit to Seabrook since we liked it so much the first time.  We brought along the Schufreider family to join in the festivities.  Unfortunately the weather wasn't great and we got very few breaks from the rain.  But we still had a great time.  I can't wait to go back!

We spent lots of time at the indoor pool.

We did quite a bit of relaxing in the cottage we rented.

The kids also rode their bikes around the neighborhood.

We hung out on the front porch.

And we spent time at the beach.

And of course we roasted some marshmallows for S'mores!

The kids also got to paint pottery and make cool stepping stones.

Next time I'm hoping for some sunnier weather, but I still love Seabrook.  Definitely a Larsen family favorite destination!
