Katherine's Wedding

In June we got to head out to beautiful Chambers Bay in Tacoma to watch Dave's cousin Katherine get married.  It was a beautiful wedding and we were able to capture some good family pictures while we were there!

Jack's T-Ball Season

Jack played his second season of T-ball with the Mighty Munchkins this spring.  He loved getting out and playing with his friends at practice and at the games.  Plus he likes the coach (Daddy) a lot!  Here are some pictures captured throughout the season:

Mother's Day

Mother's Day started early for me this year.  I was invited to attend a Mother's Day Tea with Jack's class earlier in the week.  They really went all out.  The kids poured the tea out of a silver server into real china teacups and then hand delivered it to us at our seats.  Amazingly, nothing got broken!

The kids all made fancy hats to wear to the party.

My beautiful place setting with a handmade placemat, card and treats handmade by the kids!

The kids helped make little pie pops.  They were delicious!

It was a great party and I had so much fun spending the day with my little man!

On the actual morning of Mother's Day we enjoyed a delicious brunch with the Larsen family up at the Columbia Winery.  We had great weather and a really nice time with family.

Kate's Spring Soccer Season

This spring Kate played her first season with the Maple Valley Soccer Association.  She graduated from the co-ed pee-wee league and is now on an all-girls team.  At this age, they just play 3 on 3 so they can begin to learn basic soccer skills in a more controlled setting.  She had a lot of fun and did really well on her new team.  The only problem with spring soccer is the horrible weather.  She only got to play in 1 or 2 games without rain and a couple of the games were close to hurricane conditions!

She is already looking forward to Fall soccer which will begin in September.  She will also be participating in a soccer camp in mid-August.  We just got her new cleats in the mail yesterday.  I'm happy that she is enjoying it so much.  I love watching her play!

Easter

As per tradition, Easter started at our house with the kids waking up and racing to find their baskets from the bunny waiting for them at the bottom of the stairs.

Sully is wondering where his is.

The baskets were emptied for the hunt for eggs throughout the downstairs.

Then Easter gifts from Mom & Dad were opened,

the eggs were dyed,

and bubbles were blown.

We finished the day with a delicious Easter Brunch at Grandma & Poppa Larsen's house.
